Privacy Policy

Summary

You can use every tool on Global Timeline without an account and without giving us any personal information.

What stays on your device

  • Your settings (appearance, language, sound, volume, 12/24-hour, time zone)
  • Cities you add to the world clock
  • Nothing you time is sent to a server

Shared links

Shareable timers and custom countdowns store their details inside the link itself. We do not keep a copy on a server.

Analytics

If we measure usage, we only count anonymous events such as “timer started” or “converter used”, never names, emails or precise location.

Notifications and sound

Browser notifications are only requested when you start a timer, and you can deny them; the on-screen alert and alarm still work.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date on this page.

How time tools use information

The timer and stopwatch calculate against timestamps in your browser. City clocks and conversions use time zone rules provided by your device. You can use these tools without providing your name, email or exact location.

What sharing a link means

Anyone with a shared timer or countdown link can read the title, duration or event details encoded in it. Avoid including private information. If you paste a link into another service, that service may process it under its own privacy rules.

Control your browser data

You can remove saved settings and cities by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Doing so will not change a link you have already shared, because shared details live in that link rather than in a user account.
